Hello!Man crushed: A homeless man who was sleeping on top of a BART subway elevator was crushed to death when he rode the car to the top level.
An unidentified subway patron was taking the elevator from the subway level to the street level, when he heard a crunching sound and a scream when the car reached the top floor. He called the police when the elevator became stuck. When authorities came to release him, they found the dead body of a homeless man on top of the elevator car. Officials say they have never heard of people sleeping on top of elevator cars before.
