Police in Taipei yesterday broke up a gang of sex traffickers who forced an engaged woman into a life of prostitution.
Hsu, the 26-year-old victim of the gang, was plied with drugs and forced to perform sex acts. She chose to marry Lin Shang En (林上恩), the head of the gang, hoping it would end her suffering, but it only pushed her deeper into her 'hell'. Hsu died from a drug overdose.
