I filed for bankruptcy in September 2010, and was discharged January 2011. I live in and lost a condo, which was included in the bankruptcy. The HOA claims I owe them HA fees from the date that I started the BK, and that everything prior is wiped out. I thought I couldn't owe anything till after I was cleared of my debt. That and now that the bk is cleared, they say the title is still in my name, so I still owe the HOA fees. Does anyone know about this that can help.
