He owns our home and has two businesses but he is in over his head with debt. My sister attended college and racked up huge loan bills, my uncle stuck him our failing car dealership when my uncle died, my sister bought a brand new car, and he has other various bills that need attention. He has been trying to work off debt for several years now, and he can't file for bankruptcy without him either remarrying my mother, who owns half of everything, or selling our home. My father obviously doesn't want to do either. I've tried finding a job, but not many people will hire a fifteen year-old. And I've heard of people posting on the internet about donations and stuff.
