November, 2013 Washington DC, PTI USA along with Code Pink and other US based organizations held a protest against Drones in front of White House. PTI member Yaser Buttar along with Akbar Chaudhry representing PTI talked about the devastated affect drones are having on the 8 million residents of tribal area. He stressed that the drone attack are illegal and violates the sovereignty of Pakistan and should end immediately. He called drones as weapon of terror which have terrorized the 8 million inhabitant tribal areas. Pakistan has lost over fifty thousand of its citizens since this war has started. Drones kill children and innocent people. Imran Khan has always been against the use of drones in Pakistan and PTI will stop the Nato Supplies if the drone attacks are not stopped. The crowd chanted slogans like: When Drone Flies Children Die, Band Karo Band Karo Drone Attacks Band Karo.
CodePink activist Medea Benjamin, Alli McCracken, Noor Mir, Natasha Ansari and Tighe Barry also addressed the crowd and raise their voice against the drone attacks in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Yemen and other parts of the world. They called the drone attacks a violation of International Laws and show their resolve the raise the voice for the innocent victims of drone strikes.
After the protest the activist march on Pennsylvania Ave from the White House to the offices of General Atomics, the largest manufacturer of the killer drones like Predator and Reaper used in Pakistan and Afghanistan. They stage a sit in in front of General Atomics.
