Japanese cable TV station Oita accidentally broadcast a porno film during hours normally used for children's cartoon programming.
Around 11,500 families in the city of Hita are subscribed to Oita's service. The TV company admitted the error, caused by a switch in broadcast lines during routine maintenance work.
Viewers expecting to see wholesome cartoons were instead shown adult content.
According to the company, the porn was shown to innocent eyes for half a minute before the action cut to a message on the screen. Interestingly, the company has yet to receive a single complaint concerning the mistake as of November 15.
