A Mumbai boy (Shahrukh Khan) is embarking on an epic train journey across India to a small town in Tamil Nadu. His mission is fulfil his grandfather's dying wish to have his ashes scattered in Rameshwaram. Along the way, our hero meets a South Indian girl (Deepika Padukone) from an orthodox family. Love soon blossoms between the young couple, but there are complications. As they travel through colourful South India, a huge clash of cultures awaits. In unfamiliar surroundings, where people speak a different language, our fish-out-of-water hero finds himself experiencing a series of amazing adventures. Released for Eid, 'Bol Bachchan' director Rohit Shetty's latest blockbuster sees Shahrukh Khan branching out into pure crowd-pleasing entertainment after a series of more intense roles. It's his second collaboration with Deepika Padukone after the 2007 hit 'Om Shanti Om'.
