Find the best financial services for you at: SMARTFINANCESOLUTIONS.NET - Can I re-open a bankruptcy case to include something after already receiving discharge papers? - I received the discharge paperwork on a chapter 7 bankruptcy last October. However in late January I found out that my wife's parents were 2 months late on the house they live in that's in MY name. I have since been trying to short sell it, but now I have a bankruptcy AND a mortgage that's 5 months late! And I can't rebuild my credit as long as they're living in this house for free, paying no rent, and dragging my already damaged credit through the mud. So........

Is there any chance of hiring an attorney to re-open my bankruptcy case to include my inlaws property? It has already been listed in my BK, but I didn't include it because at the time, I thought they would continue making the payments as they've done for the last 6 years. Please advise! Thanks in advance! (and yes, I have kicked myself in the *** plenty of times already thank you very much!) -
