I am on an account with my elderly aunt -- it's all her money, but I have borrowed from her before with her permission. I also am in the process of a divorce, and my ex husband is trying to prove I used the account for my own purpose, even though I had her permission in writing (she and i wrote the agreement on notebook paper, and all were loans). She's upset about all this activity over her account, and wants to take my name off of it and turn it over to my sister. I can't blame her, and want her to do this. My question is: Is it too late for her to do this once its gone ungranted before a federal trustee? -
