Starbucks recently initiated an innovative moving store concept as part of a partnership with the Swiss railway.

There are few places in the world where you can't find Starbucks and trains are among them.

Starbucks recently announced an innovative concept store as part of a partnership with the Swiss railway called SBB.

A train has been designed featuring the Starbucks logo on the outside of the vehicle and the familiar décor on the inside. Passengers will be able to take a seat in the lounge area inside the train.

In total the mobile coffee space can accommodate up to 50 people. A staffer detailed the décor element noting “The design is contemporary and focused on comfort, yet at the same time functional. This combination is expressed through beautiful design elements and a color scheme inspired by coffee.”

The Starbucks train experience is compromised of two levels. Baristas work from behind a curved, upscale bar, complete with a glass pastry case. Customers will also be able to order right from their numbered tables to have their drinks and treats delivered.

The train will officially take off on November 21st on a run from Geneva Airport to St. Gallen in Switzerland.

How do you like the concept?
