Burglary: Thieves in Johannesburg, South Africa made a spectacular robbery at FNB Stadium over the weekend, stealing some US$330,000 in cash from an earlier Justin Bieber concert.

A catering company employee deposited concert takings in a secure walk-in safe at 11 p.m. on Sunday.

Police say thieves breached the strongroom via a bathroom ceiling and then chiseled through the safe's reinforced brick ceiling with specialist equipment - a task which may have taken days.

The thieves used ropes to lower themselves into the room from a hole in the three-meter-high ceiling.

They then took cash and escaped before company employees discovered the theft on Monday morning.

Police and stadium management say the complexity of the theft suggest it was an inside job as the perps would have needed detailed schematics of the building.
