A makeshift bus plunged off a cliff in the Peruvian Andes late on Friday, killing everyone on board, including 14 children, according to a Reuters report.
The accident happened in a remote area near the town of Suyucuyo, in southeastern Peru.
The cargo truck carried 51 Quechua Indians returning from a party in the provincial capital of Santa Teresa.
The vehicle went off the road and fell roughly 300 metres into a deep ravine.
"We haven't found a single survivor," said firefighter Captain David Taboada, who was leading the rescue operation.
Authorities have yet to determine the cause of the accident. Captain Taboada noted a lot of alcohol had been consumed at the celebration attended by the passengers. Officials are currently investigating whether the truck's driver, who died along with his wife and children, was drunk at the time of the crash.
Bodies of the victims were taken to a nearby football pitch where relatives came to identify them.
The crash represents the third such incident in Peru this month, all of which have occurred in the country's southern Andean region and killed a total of 80 people.
