A new ?mystery? syndrome is giving doctors trouble. Complex Regional Pain Syndrome randomly strikes people, of all ages, for no reason at all. It causes extreme, chronic pain in hands, feet, legs, and arms. It currently has no cure and, according to the McGill Pain Index, is worse than childbirth and amputation.
