Grover, also known as Grover Monster, is a Muppet character on the popular television show Sesame Street. Self-described as lovable, cute and furry.
Grover has a semi-secret superhero identity as the well-meaning but inept SuperGrover.
Originally he wore a pink cape and medieval knight's helmet, with a Superman-esque crest on both the cape and his T-shirt, bearing a letter "G" instead of "S"
SuperGrover is first seen flying somewhere over Metro City to find a Muppet child in trouble , Grover can fly, but he can't land without crashing.
Grover is usually no help, and whatever he's doing as a feat of strength or speed only kills time while the child solves the problem on their own, so Grover often winds up in comical trouble himself.
SuperGrover 2.0, who debuted on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, flying in and crash-landing behind the chair where he was meant to sit.
His new costume consists of a helmet reminiscent of a Spartan or Centurion, a red cape, and a black rubber vest resembling bike racing gear.
Both the cape and the vest are adorned with his crest, now with a lightning bolt added behind the "G". Of course, the helmet has a hinged visor which still tends to fall over Grover's eyes. But now the tagline is...SuperGrover 2.0 - He Shows Up!
Cookie Monster is a Muppet on the children's television show Sesame Street.
He is best known for his voracious appetite and his famous eating phrases:
"Me want cookie!", "Me eat cookie!", and "Om nom nom nom" (said through a mouth full of food).
He often eats anything and everything, including danishes, donuts, lettuce, apples, bananas, as well as normally inedible objects.
However, as his name suggests, his preferred food is cookies. Chocolate chip cookies are his favorite kind; oatmeal cookies are his second favourite.
As all monsters are, Cookie Monster is initially intimidating. His manner is gruff. His clumsiness occasionally causes damage.
But quickly, Cookie Monster comes to be seen as benign—indeed, downright friendly.
He has a few bad habits. He cannot resist gobbling up anything and everything that might be consumed, especially cookies.
And he cannot quite control the way he spews forth crumbs he is seen as as the Ultimate Cookie Monster. ...we love the Cookie Monster...
