What:
A benefit evening of comedy and music to raise funds for The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinsons Research. The evening featured an acoustic set from Chris Martin of Coldplay. Michael J. Fox joined Chris on-stage to play guitar on Earth Angel, Yellow & Johnny B. Goode.
The crowd was also entertained by host Denis Leary and his band featuring comedy by Jim Gaffigan and Amy Schumer. Tina Fey (dressed as Marty McFly) and Seth Meyers took the stage to continue the laughs. Ryan Reynolds introduced the Foundations 2013 video for the crowd and Brian McCormak and Richard Kind lead the nights poker auction. Over 1,000 guests including Michaels friends from the worlds of television and film gathered to raise 5.5 million for Parkinsons research.
