Former baseball player arrested on rape charges

A former Japanese baseball player was arrested a rape committed in the streets. The 29-year-old suspect, Ken Miyamoto, manages second string players. He was arrested for raping a woman on the street in Hunabashi City one evening in late June. He was a famous left-handed pitcher and selected twice by Kansa High School in Okayama Prefecture to compete in high school baseball competitions. When Miyamoto was at WASEDA University and he had 23 wins in the Tokyo Big Six Baseball League. In 2007, he joined the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters a Japanese professional baseball team based in Sapporo, Hokkaido. Unfortunately, he was cut from the team due his crappy play in 2012.
