An estimated 100 million people will be making their way through airports this year during the holidays, and some of them will be looking for healthy food options.
How easily they’ll find one depends upon where they’re looking.

Denver International Airport came out on top, with over 85 percent of its dining options offering good-for-you fare.
Also scoring in the 80-percent range were Chicago’s O’Hare, Detroit, and Los Angeles International Airport.
If you’re travelling through Las Vegas’ McCarren International Airport or Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, best of luck to you. They scored 68 and 51 percent respectively.
In fact, McCarren’s score has dropped over 20 points since last year’s round-up.
Overall, 76 percent of the restaurants in the country’s busiest airports had something available that fit the criteria. That’s a huge improvement over a similar study conducted in 2001, at which time only 57 percent could claim the same.
The research was conducted by The Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine.
