Lady Gaga, Barbra Streisand are Glamour's Women of the Year

Lady Gaga and Barbra Streisand were among a handful of women honored at this year's Glamour Magazine's Women of the Year gala.

The two divas were joined on the red carpet by Pakistani teenage activist Malala Yousafzai and other women from the fields of entertainment, philanthropy, fashion, and politics.

Gaga, known to her fans as Mother Monster, bagged the fittingly named "Monster Talent" award.

During the acceptance speech the five time Grammy-winner said that she is an activist at heart.

Streisand was awarded the Lifetime Achievement accolade, adding to her impressive list of awards that include two Oscars, five Emmys, eight Grammys and a Tony award.
