It's a tale as old as time.

But now becoming a real Disney princess could be a reality.

Dresses designed by fashion powerhouses Valentino and Oscar de la Renta among others are on display at Christie's in London.

They're being auction by Disney to raise money for Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital.

Matthew Grossman is from Walt Disney.

(SOUNDBITE) The Walt Disney Company EMEA Vice President of Corporate Citizenship, Matthew Grossman, saying (English):

"We decided to auction these dresses off because Disney has a long term relationship with Great Ormond Street Hospital dating back to 1951 when Walt Disney actually went to the hospital himself. So we have an ongoing relationship and when we partnered with Harrods and then with Christie's to auction these off we just though it was the perfect partnership."

Estimates for the priceless one-off dresses begin at 3,000 pounds.
