Lady Gaga is gearing up for a cruise out of this world, but its not all fun and games.
Now, Lady Gaga has added herself to that list but its not all fun and games.
Instead the pop star will be performing on the journey which is part of the Zero G Colony music festival that will take place at New Mexico's Spaceport America. Lady Gaga will reportedly hop onboard a Virgin Galactic shuttle and sing only one song.
Once the concert is over on the third day of the festival, she will become the very first artist to officially perform in outer space. Prior to the trip, she will have to undergo a month of vocal training due to the change in atmospheric pressure. Gaga’s entourage will also be in tow for the journey.
The performance is scheduled to take place sometime in 2015. By that time Virgin Galactic will have been sending off commercial space flights for about 6 months.
Katy Perry and Justin Bieber are just a couple additional celebrities who have already signed up to take a Virgin Galactic journey to space when it gets ready to takeoff.
