I recently got myself a free computer from the refurbish area of my company. And long behold that this PC is a Intel Pentium 3 450 Mhz. with 256 mb of SD ram. It comes with two hard drive and no optical drives.
One is an 8 gig Seagate and the other one is a 40 gig Seagate. I decided to get my old IDE optical drive out and turn it into a Server for my document files since all my important documents will be place here. So what fun it is to install Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Server and ownCloud into it. It took me 3 to 4 hours to configure and install the system. And finally I got it to work. After installing ownCloud Client to my workstation PC, I got all my documents sync up to all my PC in the house. You see with a little bit of recycling of old hardware, you can save the environment from disaster and prevent global warming.
