Millions of students around the world have faced the pressure of college entrance exams but South Korea's taken the agony to another level entirely.

These students are taking exams seen by many as the very key to their future careers.

The state-sponsored College Scholastic Aptitude Test is considered so critical in Seoul those running late can get a police escort.

Cell phones and any other electronic goods have to be handed in on arrival.

For many the pressure is hard to bear.
