As of Monday (November 04), Perry had roughly 46,545,000 followers; Bieber, 46,517,000. Bieber has been the record holder for nine months.
More bad news for Bieber, the singer was pelted with a water bottle while performing in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Bieber was in the middle of a song when he was hit with the bottle, apparently thrown by someone in the audience, which knocked the microphone out of his hand. Bieber walked off stage after getting hit, looking visibly annoyed.
