Scooter the 7-year-old llama caused a stir in his Tallahassee neighborhood when he ran away from home Friday night. His owners, as well as police, organized search parties to bring the llama home. Neighbors reported sightings; one even thought he was a camel. Police caught up with the creature on Saturday and he gave chase, even jumping over a 4-foot fence to escape. The llama on the lam was eventually subdued with a taser gun and taken in. He is safe and sound and enjoying his favorite snack of Triscuits once again.
