Florida fans are getting ready for one of the biggest rivalries of the year as No. 3 FSU hosts No. 7 Miami in Tallahassee on Saturday at Doak Campbell Stadium.
FSU quarterback Jameis Winston has described the game as a battle of brothers. "It's a brotherly game," Winston told press with a smile. "It's just like we're going to be in the backyard, playing against each other. We want to beat our brother and if they want to be big brother, we want to be the little brother, it's still a friendly competition. It's going to be a battle."
The game is set to be broadcast over ABC and ESPN's College GameDay will also be on campus in Tallahassee. This game is the first time since 2004 that both schools have been ranked in the top 10. Miami has won four of the last six meeting in Tallahassee.
Florida State redshirt freshman quarterback Jameis Winston has been phenomenal this year. The Heisman hopeful has tossed for 2,177 yards and 23 touchdowns with four interceptions. He's rushed for 126 yards and three touchdowns as well. He's second in the nation in passing efficiency at 207.0.
The Hurricanes will look to sophomore running back Duke Johnson. Johnson has gained 823 yards on the ground on 122 tries with six touchdowns. Johnson's status was in question after a head injury sustained against North Carolina, but those were put to rest last week in their unimpressive win over Wake Forest.
Who will win the game Saturday? The Noles or the Canes.
