Banksy came to New York City determined to leave graffiti in public places for a month. He did that, managed not to get arrested despite complaints from Mayor Michael Bloomberg and sparked a debate over the public benefits of his project. Tim Minton says the English artist, who keeps his face as hidden as his art is out there, proved to be a great self promoter.
