In the 1920s, architect Rosario Candela designed some of the most iconic buildings in New York, including 740 Park Avenue—a staple of luxury living. Among the highly affluent tenants was John D. Rockefeller Jr., who owned a 37-room, 20,000-square-foot triplex.
