In her first public testimony to lawmakers since the rocky rollout of the Affordable Care Act website, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius is answering questions on Capitol Hill.
Sebelius arrived for the House committee hearing Wednesday morning. She faced tough questions from Republican lawmakers who have been calling for her resignation over the website's debacle.
Sebelius started her testimony by apologizing for the problems on the website.
"I am as frustrated and angry as anyone with the flawed launch of healthcare.gov. So let me say directly to these Americans, you deserve better. I apologize, I'm accountable to you for fixing these problems," Sebelius said.
Major glitches on the website have prevented people from signing up for Obama's signature healthcare legislation since the website launched on October 1st.
The White House maintains the website will be fixed by November 30th.
