The bodies of two of three teens thought to have been kidnapped were found Thursday afternoon in Ottawa, Ohio, the Daily Mail reported.
According to the Putnam County Sentinel, on Thursday morning the mother of Blaine and Blake Romes, Shellie Grothaus, returned home and found a car, her sons and their teenage friend missing. She immediately called the police and described her home as a "crime scene". Later reports indicate the possibility of blood at the scene, said the Putnam County Sentinel.
At 11:21 a.m. an Amber Alert was officially issued for the three teenagers, but hours later police found the friend, Michael Fay, 17, and the missing car he allegedly stole at a West Columbus gas station. He was asking for directions when police arrested him on suspicion of vehicle theft. He then told police the location of the Romes brothers bodies.
According to the Putnam County Sentinel, one of the bodies was found in a crawl space underneath the mobile home where the boys lived, and the other body was found in a field outside the village.
Police have not disclosed any possible motive for the deaths of the two siblings and are still reportedly trying to reconstruct what happened on Thursday.
According to reports, Michael Fay was charged of grand theft and pleaded not guilty.
