I purchased this to actually organize my makeup brushes after seeing a similar item in a YouTube video. I know thats not what it is marketed for, but I thought it would work, especially to allow my brushes to dry on their sides wout actually lying down. It does work great for that. It also will work extremely well for my 6 year olds large supply of paintbrushes so I am quite pleased. NOTE if you do purchase solely to store makeup brushes, be advised that brushes w wider handles (example Everyday Minerals flat top brush or EcoTools Bronzer Brush or any of the wider retractible brushes by EM, Ecotools or Sonia Kashuk these either wont fit or will fit part way only.
