I hike up Mt. Akakura in these boots the first time i wore them with my 5 month old son strapped to my back! I am very impressed with these boots! The day of the hike it was raining with a mild temperature, and the boots preformed great in mud, water, rocks, stones, the only thing I slipped on was the wooden planks, but I didnt fall just lose traction on the forward step.
