Learning quickly that the difference between someone without a story and someone with a story is just the confidence to know you've got a story worth telling, 19 year old Brisbane based singer songwriter Rachel Lee shares through her lyrically driven storyteller music a sense of honesty and openness. Being influenced by many of the great Australian songwriters such as Paul Kelly, Josh Pyke, Gareth Liddiard and Missy Higgins this seems like no surprise. Although fitting into the singer songwriter genre Rachel Lee's music combines hints of Folk, Soul, and Lounge Pop. After releasing her Single "Going Nowhere" in late June that included January Rain, Brother (Work This Out), and By My Side Rachel Lee is currently working towards a debut EP.
