It was fairly easy to put together but need to keep track of the surfaces.so you dont end up with the bottom side up. It has a lot of space for all my electronics and gadgets. The only issue is that it is pressed particle board and you have to be careful where you grab it or the screws will break through the board. I dont know that it is worth $300 but it was the only one with the right dimensions and space for my electronics and it looks nice ) http://garyadair.com/1049967
