ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION).

STORY: At least one person has been killed and hundreds displaced as heavy rain caused flooding in the central Peruvian region of Huanuco after three rivers burst their banks, according to local media.

The Buenos Aires river in Tingo Maria, the capital city of the Leoncio Prado province, located about 500 kilometers (about 310 miles) from Lima in the Huanuco region as well as rivers Barranco and Supte overflowed after intense rain fell during six hours.

In the aftermath of the storm, flood victims walked among mud and fallen tree trunks as other residents tried to clear drainage pipes.
