I suppose a string of tiny, fifteen-turn battles is superior to a massive one hundred eight-turn battle. With the former, I don't have to worry about units I thought I had routed arising from the shadows to troll me.

Historical recap: The Battle of Savage's Station took place in Virginia on June 29, 1862. Estimates suggest 26,600 Union and 14,000 Confederate soldiers fought at Savage's Station with 1,038 Union and 473 Confederate casualties. Although tactically inconclusive, the Union continued its strategic withdrawal, abandoning both supplies and over twenty-five hundred wounded soldiers in a field hospital near the battlefield.
