A US Navy ship has rescued 128 men from a raft in the Mediterranean Sea as Europe's migrant crisis intensifies.
Maltese authorities called on the USS San Antonio as high winds and waves rocked the raft. The men were given food, water and medical help, transferred to Maltese vessels and taken to Malta.
