In 2007 IECD launched in Lebanon Seeds of Hope, a training program for careers in electricity. The goal is to promote the integration of the youth in the labor market.
Seven years later, teaching standards have been developed; a hundred teachers have been trained in innovative teaching methods; nearly 800 students follow the new curriculum which focuses on the acquisition of skills that are required by the professionals. Today, the program is expanding in Egypt, Morocco and Nigeria.
