Statue returned to Prague's famous bridge

A newly-restored statue of Saint Damian has been put back in place on Prague's famous Charles Bridge.

It is part of a work in progress to clean or replace all 30 statues on the bridge.

The statue of Saint Damian, a patron saint of medicine, was created in 1709 and donated by the Medicine Faculty of Prague University.
