One inmate’s obsession with taking selfies landed him in some additional hot water. Paul Reyes who is currently detained at Bexar County Jail was recently busted for hiding a cell phone in his pants after deputies were tipped off that he was continuously posting new pictures of himself on Facebook.
Take a few peeks on any social media site and you’re bound to see millions of photos that people share with friends and family.
And a big chunk of those photos are selfies - many of us love to get shots of ourselves pretty much anywhere and everywhere.
One inmate’s obsession with taking selfies landed him in some hot water. Paul Reyes, an inmate at Bexar County Jail, was recently discovered to be hiding a cell phone in his pants. Deputies found it after being tipped off that Reyes has recently been posting new pictures of himself on Facebook.
At that time, prison authorities immediately launched an investigation to find out how Reyes was snapping photos. A search later revealed he had somehow managed to smuggle a cell phone inside the facility. He had used it to take pictures of himself in various poses behind bars.
Although it was not immediately known what type of additional punishment he would face for illegally sneaking the phone in the prison, the device was confiscated.
