The PIAF Chairman said that the business community understands that the currency's movement in economy was based on market sentiments but it believes that the recent slide was only due to rumor mongering by some elements that had caused notable depreciation of currency.
He also urged the Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar to prepare and put in place a foolproof mechanism to stop recurrence of any such incident in future that had shaken the confidence of the business community.
The PIAF also called for measure to stabilize economy as the things on economic front were not moving in the right direction because of high price power and petroleum products.
