Santillana del Mar (Spain), 15 Jun (EFE).- A group of scientists from nine different institutions have shown that Paleolithic cave paintings from the Altamira, El Castillo and Tito Bustillo caves, using the uranium thorium method, which shows that that the art dates back to between 30,000 and 40,000 years.
