New video released by WikiLeaks shows former N.S.A. contractor Edward Snowden accepting the "Integrity in Intelligence" award.
In Moscow, a group of intelligence workers-turned whistleblowers gave Snowden the award for revealing thousands of details on U.S. surveillance programs.
His leaks sparked a new debate on counterterrorism and civil liberties.

"People all over the world are realising that these program s don't make us more safe. They hurt our economy; they hurt our country; they limit our ability to speak and think and live and be creative - to have relationships, to associate freely. And they're going 'this doesn't make us more safe, it makes us less safe."
At the ceremony, Snowden called out the hypocrisy of the U.S.
