The US military is developing exo-armor that gives its user superhero-like abilities. The tactical assault light operator suit, or TALOS, gives soldiers the ability to see in the dark, deflect bullets and even have superhuman strength. It’s made using "liquid kevlar" and nanotechnology, the only drawback is there isn’t a sufficient power source for the suit yet.
