Madrid, Nov 15 (EFE).- Hundreds of thousands of people took to the streets across Spain to protest austerity measures implemented by the government of Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy.
Labor unions said turnout during Wednesday strike was highest in Madrid and Barcelona, with nearly one million marchers in each city.
While the government said 35,000 people took part in Madrid and 57,000 in Barcelona.
