Dead seismic zone near Istanbul likely to trigger next Marmara earthquake

Scientists have pinpointed an an extremely dangerous seismic zone less than 20 kilometres from Istanbul, which could be the epicenter of the next Marmara earthquake.
It was reported that a 30-kilometer-long and 10-kilometer-deep block has been identified along the North Anatolian fault zone just south of Istanbul.
