Saying it was like a "water slide", a Florida boy survived being sucked into a drainpipe and dumped into a river hundreds of yards away in Fort Myers on Thursday night.
The 5-year-old boy was playing with his friends in a rain-filled ditch.
Unbeknownst to the kids, a drainpipe was hidden underneath the water.
The boy was sucked into the storm drain and was carried almost 300 yards by the current.
He was dumped into the Caloosahatchee River and managed to climb his way out.
The child managed to escape the ordeal with only minor injuries.
