Delhi residents were witness to one of the oldest forms of entertainment. With the Delhi Tourism department organising the first Magic Festival at Pitampura's Dilli Haat, the city's populace got a glimpse of an art form that has for long caught the fancy of children and adults alike.
With most performers belonging to the Indian Brotherhood of Magic, the range of magic varied from basic playing card tricks to optical illusions.
However, contrary to popular belief, performers stressed on the importance of formal training, one of the key elements required to be a successful magician.
