Congress Vice President and party MP Rahul Gandhi is a very progressive and farsighted leader and he is capable to lead the party and the country. He has contributed a lot in the last election by reviving congress in UP region where it has performed very badly in the last few elections. He was offered a cabinet birth by Prime Minister Mr. Manmohan Singh but he rejected the offer and said at present his main work is to create awareness in India's young generation about Indian politics so that more young people will incline to join politics. Apart from his other mission is to revive congress in North-East region where congress has performed very badly in previous elections except the just concluded one.
