It was a rare moment of cooperation in the US House of Representatives, as members unanimously agreed to back pay all workers currently on unpaid leave due the shutdown.
The measure comes as the government tries to ease the effects of the impasse which saw hundreds of thousands of government employees sent home without pay on October 1st.
