Canadian twitter user tries to score weed, ends up unemployed

All Canadian Sunith Baheerathan was searching for was a quick high. The Toronto native was working at Mr Lube when he came to the conclusion that the best way to score weed and get high was to order online of course.

So he sent out a poorly disguised tweet asking for any would-be drug dealers in the area to come on down to Lubetown with the goods.

"Any dealers in Vaughan wanna make a 20sac chop? Come to Keele/Langstaff Mr. Lube, need a spliff," he wrote, according to the Globe and Mail.

The seemingly innocuous tweet garnered quick internet fame, becoming a trending topic in the Toronto area.

It even caught the attention of a couple of social-media savvy cops who replied to the tweet.

"Awesome! Can we come too?" read the retort from the York Regional Police's official Twitter feed, Globe and Mail reported.

It was only a short time later that Baheerathen tweeted the inevitable - he had been fired.

About all the subsequent media attention, the stoic Baheerathen tweeted: "I've lost complete hope in society man. There's killers/rapists/people missing and all they care about is a dude asking for weed."

Later tweeting: "Gotta watch what you tweet nowadays, even the freedom of speech & the right to an entitled opinion isn't safe."

It appears, the right to illegal drugs ingested at a workplace also is not safe.
